Our mission is to foster a workplace culture that promotes personal growth, an ownership mentality, and the empowerment of all our team members to treat every project, big or small, with the dedication and attention to detail it deserves.
Our History
We’ve Been Busy
1978
BACK TO OUR ROOTS
CDM Synergies can trace back its roots to 1978 when PCI, a leading highway heavy contractor, chose to self-perform many of its specialized steel fabrication and manufacturing needs. Our just in time and high-quality services became highly sought after even by PCI’s competitors.
2005
DELTA DESIGN
In 2005, Delta Design, a leader in the custom design and manufacture of asphalt and aggregate producing equipment was acquired by PCI Roads and merged with their internal fabrication shop. The fabrication division was branded as Ironworks, which diversified by adding many local OEM’s to our client list and began fabricating for other bridge construction companies.
2009
IRONWORKS EXPANDED
In 2009, IronWorks expanded into a second building in Becker and added a state of the art, large capacity coatings facility that complemented current services, enabling us to become a sole source supplier to many clients. Shortly thereafter, we started providing final assembly services for our partners, giving them fully finished goods from a single source.
2014
TAVIS METAL IS ACQUIRED
In 2014 we purchased Tavis Metal and Fabrication, based out of Rogers MN. This acquisition allowed us to offer CNC milling and turning for our clients.
2015
SYNERGIES, LLC IS BORN
Upon the 2015 sale of PCi Roads, the company was spun off and re-branded as Synergies, LLC. Later that same year, all Tavis operations were moved to Becker as we grew into a third building.
2016
ENGINEERING GROUP ADDED
In 2016, we added an engineering group to support the core manufacturing business, rounding out our ability to provide turn-key services.
2019
CHAMFER INC IS ACQUIRED
In 2019, we acquired Chamfer Inc, based out of Minneapolis, MN, allowing us to provide manufactured chromium carbide wear plates and offer more lining solutions for our partners.
TODAY
LOOKING AHEAD
Today we have over 63,000 square feet of manufacturing space, a team of over 40 members, and we continue to grow and diversify our book of business. Although we have a long and storied history, we continuously look to the future and invest in new processes, equipment and technologies, allowing us to stay at the leading edge of manufacturing.
